Responsibilities

SwAPP is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team as the Treasurer. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for bookkeeping and financial tracking:

• Managing the banking system
• Support the preparation of invoices (via a CRM)
• Accounting and financial statements preparation
• Handling the administration of important documents: tax declarations, pay slips, salary declaration and certificates etc.
• Overseeing document administration, ensuring proper archiving and compliance
• Support budgeting of SwAPP activities and fundraising initiatives

Skills and qualifications:

• Finance expertise: Experience in accounting within a professional entity
• Understanding of the Swiss ecosystem: Knowledge of the Swiss institutions, legal and financial environment is essential.
• Communication skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with authorities in German. And additional language like French is an asset.
• Attention to detail, reliable and able to work collaboratively
